Hello, now I`m going to describe my experience in Poland, which lasted lasted just 1 week but still managed to create some amazing memories as I met a lot of new people, saw a lot of new things and learned a lot.
First of all, I want to thank my host family again for their hospitality and being helpful whenever I needed something plus for the delicious food they served me. They also showed interest in my country and lifestyle and made an effort to communicate with me even though they didn`t speak English in general. Thanks to the similarities between Polish and Bulgarian we were able to communicate at some point.
I`m also glad that I was parted with Inga as she really helped me with my work before my arriving and was always trying to make sure that everything is alright and I feel good.
I can`t forget to say that this project was a great opportunity to meet new people and make new friends as how I did. I usually don`t go to talk to a person first but there were a lot of girls who came to me to start a conversation which I`m thankful for as I would have probably not talked to them if they didn`t made the effort.
I also want to point out that I expected it to be much harder to deal with all the tasks for the project while we are in Poland and I thought that we wouldn`t have time to do what we want. I was wrong. Of course we had work to do there but in general we were able to experience Poland and do what we like.
We had a scheduled program with activities which I personally really enjoyed. We visited the city Hall, a Museum of Soup where we did our own soups, we went on Geocaching and had orientating games.
We also had a full day trip to Torun which is a town new Bydgoszcz. We went to the Knowledge Museum which was probably the most interesting museum I`ve been to. We also visited the Planetarium where we had an amazing show. As for the last day we had a farawell party and we played bowling.
The whole week passed so fast and I wish I could have stayed more. I`m really thankful for being able to take a part of that project and that I visited exactly Poland!
